Encaminhados pela Praça do Povo, seguimos em direção à Fonte de Trevi. Da autoria de Nicola Salvi, data de 750, e foi construída no ponto onde terminava o segundo aqueduto de Aqua Virgo (a nascente que alimenta todas as fontes).
Ficou célebre pelo filme Dolce Vita, e segundo reza a lenda, quem lançar uma moeda estando de costas para a fonte, voltará a Roma um dia. O dinheiro oferecido é recolhido para instituições de solidariedade, por isso, a oferenda tem motivos mais nobres.

Rome-Fountain of Trevi (day #3)
Directed by the People's Square, we headed to the Trevi Fountain. Authored by Nicola Salvi, date 750, and was built on the spot where it ended the second aqueduct of Aqua Virgo (the spring that feeds all fountains of the ciy).
Became famous by the movie Dolce Vita, and according to legend, who flips a coin standing with the back to the fountain will return to Rome one day.
